Palindrome is Formed for Fun The word ‘PALINDROME’ comes from the Greek word palindromos, which means ‘running back again’. A palindrome is a word or sentence or even complete poem which is spelled the same backwards and forwards. Early palindromes reverse the sentences and not the letters.
